Multimedia Exhibit Info
Another application that uses the OptiMusic technology is the interactive display and information aid. Individual coloured light-beams placed randomly or near specified exhibits provide a highly visual way to trigger any combination of events including spot lighting, narrations, video clips and other effects. A visitor who puts a hand into the beam (intentionally or not) will bring the exhibit to life. (Hyperlink: Usher Video)
Children's Workshops
OptiMusic provides an invaluable tool for teaching the basic social skills of teamwork, sharing, co-operation and listening. More creatively, it encourages self-expression, co-ordination and the development of musical awareness through rhythm, melody and composition. OptiMusic effectively supports requirements for Key Stages 1,2 and 3 of the National Curriculum for Music.
Whatever Next!
As visitors enter a room, they walk through a display of beams setting off effects in real time: the first beam can activate a short welcome voice message, another beam could trigger atmospheric sounds and lights, the next a sponsors' gobo (image) together with a jingle, another a video image. These effects can be produced at random.
Venue Attractions
The artistic team at OptiMusic can help you to produce a stunning and futuristic multi-media, audio-visual show. Visiting or in-house performers can entertain and delight visitors with music and dance - triggering lights, special effects, smoke and video images. Audience participation can easily be incorporated to provide a unique experience as visitors are invited to play for fun and take part in a host of games and activities. Fun, challenging and prize-winning games are popular crowd pleasers. (Hyperlink: Beam Babes Video)
Interactive Attractions
In a darkened room or passage, coloured lights beams shine from various directions, thus creating a 3D interactive environment. As visitors cross the paths of light, they activate a series of effects including sounds, lights, video images, haze etc. All events are carefully selected to be complementary and agreeable. The visitor can indulge in controlling the effects at random or even play popular melodies by following simple colour and shape coded instructions. (Hyperlink: Kids in Museum Video)
Passage Through Time
Imagine walking back through time to the pre-historic age. Walking through a series of beams, each step sets off an effect in real time: the first beam activates sounds and dims the lights, the second beam could trigger the roar of dinosaur, the third activate a video image of his jaws opening and another could trigger a puff of smoke. Each beam can activate up to 99 consecutive and varied events.
