Frequently Asked Questions
Are music and sounds included?
All OptiMusic systems are supplied with the latest Sessions Volume containing a broad compilation of sounds and activities. There are over 50 settings that are ready programmed on the OptiMusic system which comes with a comprehensive manual providing useful session ideas, listing potential skills to be developed and measurable learning goals to be achieved.
Who developed the available sessions?
The 'Skills' and 'Session Ideas' put forward for each setting are the culmination of the experience and research by Special Needs Practitioners including valuable contributions made by those staff and carers already working with OptiMusic.
Can I add my own music, sounds voices and images?
In addition to the pre-programmed settings there is huge scope for creating your own as well as recording voices onto the OptiMusic system. Programming and Recording with OptiMusic is a straightforward user-friendly process that adds even greater possibilities for those in your care.

The sound groups include:

Minimum height: 2.4m; Maximum 4.0m.

Yes! Some games even work better in this configuration.
I only have a small space available. Is this ok?
An 8-beam system requires a minimum of 1.60m x 2.5m. Small systems require even less space.
Do the speakers and monitor have to be on the wall or could they be integrated?
They can easily be integrated into a ceiling/wall etc.
Can the beams be integrated in the ceiling or will they overheat?
No problem in integrating the beams into a ceiling!
Does the computer/keyboard/mouse come enclosed?
The PC and other hardware are normally housed in a closed, ventilated cabinet.
Is the system design flexible?
Various designs can be implemented to any site specification.
